A Perplexing Dilemma

So Caleb has this dilemma in his almost-2-year-old life. He can't have everything that he wants. This problem is further exasperated by the fact that he has a very pregnant Mama who is tired and doesn't come to his beck and call as quickly or as often as he would like.

So he has had to become quite self sufficient. I have found him bellied up to a pan full of brownies at the counter. or standing on a stool trying to get a cup out of the cupboard for a drink. And let's not forget his almost nightly ritual of crawling onto a barstool and asking me, "Wha are we hafing?" when I am cooking supper. His stomach has driven him to do some breath-catching stunts. So it shouldn't have surprised me when I heard this horrible racket out in the kitchen and discovered him doing this...

Yes, he has figured out how to "scootch" his highchair across the floor so that he can get to the counter. What's his stomach going to drive him to do next? Hop into the car for a quick jaunt to the McDonald's drive thru?!?!?
