This one's for you, Mom!
My mother made these outfits for Ruthie! Aren't they wonderful. Sofie was so overjoyed to see all the clothes for Ruthie. The shoes were the icing on the cake. I love the last pictures where Sofie insisted that Ruthie ride her new scooter with her slippers on, in a loungewear outfit. It only makes sense when your 6, I guess. :)

Wonderful pictures of the excitement of the day. Ruthie has finally arrived and it was like a shower for her before her arrival. Everything she needs to be active in her envirement. What beautiful doll clothes. A talented Grandma.

That is so cool that your mom made her doll clothes. When I was young and cabbage patch kids were the rage, Clara (before she was our grandma) made clothes for them and sold them. Kari, her granddaughter, of course got them for free and I was so jealous that her grandma made all these great clothes for her dolls. Sofie is a lucky girl and Ruthie will have one rockin' wardrobe. Our Roofie will have to be content borrowing clothes from her sister dolls. :)...that is unless your mom wants to crank out an outfit or two for your nieces for the Feb bday extravaganza! ;)
The delight in the chilren's faces when they see their Christmas gifts is completely precious! It looks like fun was had by all - even the adults in the background! Merry Christmas to each of you.
