It's well worth the preparation it took to get to this place. Christmas morning we woke up early (not like last year) and opened up presents. It was just the perfect ratio of present to child this year. Not so many that Daddy is mad, not so few that the kids are underwhelmed.
After the gift opening we had some cinnamon rolls
and then split our time between Lego's,
Wii,
watched the snow storm
and ate snacks.
The day was so loungingly wonderful that Sofie started crying when it was time to go to bed and said, "Today has been such a great day, I'm having a really hard time letting it end! Can we stay and our pajamas and play Wii all day again tomorrow?!"
